Signing up creates your school's own Qalamora account with its own web address. The person who signs up becomes the owner of the school, with full access including billing and security settings.
Before you start
- Decide which plan suits you. The pricing page lists the plans, the number of students each allows and the monthly and yearly price.
- Keep your mobile phone nearby. Owners must set up two-factor sign-in the first time they open the school.
- Have the email address you want to use as the owner login.
Steps
- Open the signup page. Click Start your school on the Qalamora website, or choose a plan on the pricing page. This opens the Start your school form.
- Enter your school's name. Type the name as you want it shown, for example "Al-Noor Grammar School".
- Choose your school web address. In School web address, type a short name using lowercase letters, numbers or dashes (3 to 40 characters). The form tells you at once if the address is available, taken or reserved. Staff, parents and students will sign in at this address.
- Fill in the owner account. Enter Your full name, Email, Mobile number (for example 0300 1234567) and a Password of at least 10 characters with letters and numbers. Type the password again in Confirm password.
- Pick the plan and billing period. Select a plan and choose Monthly or Yearly. The Your plan box on the side shows the plan and price you picked.
- Add a promo code if you have one. Type it in Promo code (optional).
- Accept the terms and continue. Tick the terms box and click Continue to payment. Payment happens on a secure checkout page.
- Wait for the status page. After paying you see the Signup status page. When it shows Ready, click Open your school and sign in with the email and password you chose.
What the status page means
| Status | What to do |

| Ready | Your school is set up. Open it and sign in. |
| Payment received | Setup takes a few seconds. Refresh the page. |
| Waiting for payment | Your address is held for a short time. Click Pay now to finish. |
| Waiting for bank transfer | The school is set up once the transfer reaches Qalamora, usually within one working day. |
| Needs attention | Your payment is safe. The Qalamora team will contact you by email. |
| Expired | Payment was not completed in time and the address was released. Start again. |
نوٹ
If your plan includes a free trial, the school is created without a payment. You receive the first invoice before the trial ends and pay it from Settings > Subscription.
