For multiple choice tests, students can fill circles on an answer sheet instead of writing letters. Qalamora prints the sheet and a matching answer key overlay, so a teacher can check a stack of sheets by hand in minutes.
Steps
- Open the paper in the Test maker. See Make a test paper.
- Choose the bubble sheet mode. Open Paper style, watermark and bubble sheet and under Bubble sheet choose Separate sheet (its own answer page) or Sidebar (a narrow bubble column beside the multiple choice questions). None prints no bubbles.
- Print the answer sheet. Press Print, choose MCQ answer sheet (bubbles), the version and the language, and press Make PDF. Print one sheet per student.
- Print the answer key. Print again and choose Answer key. With a separate sheet, the key includes an answer key overlay page with the correct circles filled.
What is on the sheet
The separate sheet has boxes for the name, father's name, roll number, section and paper version, the rules for filling bubbles, circles for every question, and boxes for the candidate's and invigilator's signatures. It never carries a watermark.
Checking sheets
Print the overlay page on a transparency, or punch out the filled circles of a paper copy. Place it over a student's sheet, matching the corner marks, and count the circles that show through.
Versions A to D
If the paper has more than one version, each version shuffles question order and options. Students write their version on the sheet; check each sheet with the key of the same version.
Note
Qalamora prints bubble sheets for checking by hand. Scanning or checking answer sheets from photos is not part of the product today.
