On this page
Settings > Customize is one page that explains and links every choice the school owner can make. Each card opens the matching settings tab. Changes apply to new work from the moment you save; records already made are not rewritten.
Who can use it
The page is for the school owner. Other roles see only the cards for the settings their role allows, and a locked tab shows School administrator access required. The owner can give a role settings access in Administration > Roles.

Other settings tabs
The Settings page also has tabs that are not on the Customize page:
- Academics: sessions, classes, sections, subjects and campuses. See Set up sessions, classes and subjects.
- Modules: which parts of Qalamora are switched on. See Switch modules on or off.
- Subscription (online schools) or Licence (desktop edition): your plan and invoices, or your licence status.
- Appearance: colours and layout of the screens for your own browser.
- One tab for each switched-on module that has its own settings, such as Fees, Attendance or Transport.
Tip
Start with the first group. A correct letterhead and number format before the first challan run avoids reprinting.
