Customize your school The Customize your school page gathers every choice an owner can make in Qalamora: identity, numbering, calendar, notifications, roles, security and data.
Set admission, challan and receipt numbers Choose how new admission (GR), challan, receipt and voucher numbers are written in Qalamora: prefix, year, separator and number of digits.
Region and calendar Set your school's time zone, date and money formats, Rs label, lakh grouping, language, weekly off days, school timings and session start month.
Automatic notifications Choose which events Qalamora announces automatically, such as fee receipts and absence alerts, and whether they go in the app, by SMS or on WhatsApp.
Dashboard and menu for each role Choose which dashboard cards each role sees first and in what order, and hide side menu sections a role does not need, without removing any access.
Roles, permissions and users Add staff logins, give each person a role such as principal, accountant or teacher, create your own roles and reset passwords with a login slip.
Switch modules on or off Turn Qalamora modules such as Fees, Attendance, Transport or Library on or off for your school. Turning a module off hides it but keeps all its data.
Download a copy of your data The school owner can download a complete, password-protected copy of all school records from Qalamora, with one file per table, to keep as a backup.
Back up to Google Drive or your own cloud Connect Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or an S3 bucket and Qalamora saves a locked copy of all your school data there on a daily or weekly schedule.
Store school files in your own cloud Keep student photos, documents and printouts in your own S3 bucket, Google Drive or Dropbox instead of Qalamora storage, and move existing files safely.
Restore from a backup Open a Qalamora school backup with your passphrase, check its contents and ask support to restore your school records from it into Qalamora.
